Board Observer

Lisa Whybrow was born in Isleworth, Middlesex. She is an experienced professional with a diverse range of skills and capabilities developed within the software, customer services and education sectors. She started her career in the software industry holding various roles including administration, sales and account management, and customer experience. Her final role within the software industry saw her in charge of global maintenance revenues. During this time, she honed her client relationship skills, and her ability to streamline operations, optimizing revenues and customer support. Lisa’s strong leadership skills, business acumen, and an ability to drive customer satisfaction, growth and profitability were evident throughout. Later in her career, Lisa fulfilled a lifelong dream and retrained as a primary school teacher, specialising in English and Games.

Her love for cricket started as an adult, initially playing National League Indoor Cricket and eventually turning to outdoor, where she played for Dukesmead WCC, ultimately earning a place within the Middlesex Women’s team. Unfortunately, injury stopped Lisa’s playing career.

Lisa has been involved in Middlesex cricket since 1991, an advocate of the game in all forms, and actively involved in the growth of cricket through her coaching role at a local club and her position as a Games teacher. As well as her role as a Board Observer, Lisa has been instrumental in re-establishing and growing the Middlesex and Sunrisers Players’ Association alongside Angus Fraser.
