Middlesex in the Community were in attendance at the third African Caribbean Cricket Festival at Grace Road, the home of Leicestershire CCC, on Sunday 20 July 2025. At the event, which was a celebration of cricket and Caribbean culture, were several England and West Indian cricket legends.
It only seems like yesterday that we were getting the grounds ready for a busy summer of cricket and now we are halfway through the season, and with that in mind it would be good to see how things are progressing in Middlesex’s two major leagues – the Middlesex County Cricket League and the Middlesex Premier Cricket League.
The first round of the Victoria Park midweek cup took place recently with 32 teams across five divisions competing against one another. The cup itself saw 16 matches take place across the whole of one week.
We caught up with Graces Cricket Club ahead of tomorrow's Vitality Blast clash against Essex, which sees our annual pride fixture at Lord's. Graces Cricket Club is known as the world's first LGBTQ+ inclusive cricket club.
Tomorrow night will see Middlesex Cricket host our annual Rainbow Laces fixture as we take on Essex in the Vitality Blast at Lord’s.
